What are grenadier badges?
Grenadier badges identify members of the grenadier formations of the Swiss Army. Grenadiers are combat troops serving as assault troops -- they conduct attacks and security missions.
Types of grenadier badges:
Grenadiers wear green shoulder straps with their formation designation.
Types of grenadier badges:
- Function badge (25x25mm): Identifies belonging to the grenadier branch. Velcro attachment, right breast pocket.
- Section badge: Custom badge with section design, names and year.
- TAZ 90 (90x50mm): Tactical badge with section designation and branch symbol.
